Corn flakes are a popular breakfast dish, yet it isn’t recommended for everyone. It has a very high glycemic index and rapidly raises the blood-sugar levels, there it is not suitable for those with diabetes, insulin resistance or those on a diet. One of its benefits is that it contains no added sugar.
Use:
Mix with cereals rich in fiber (e.g. oats or buckwheat flakes) or oilseeds, thus raising blood pressure at a slower rate and delaying the onset of hunger.
