Ingredients: canesugar
Usage: As a sweetener for coffee and tea, lending a subtle fragrance to pastries and desserts. An ideal and natural replacement of traditional refined sugar.
Good to know: The “brown sugar” available in most stores is nothing more than refined sugar colored with cane sugar molasses. Thus it is no healthier than refined sugar (despite what its name might lead indicate), as opposed to the physiologically far superior cane sugar.
The benefits of cane sugar:
- A natural form of sugar which the body can process better than refined sugar, whilst containing additional nutritives (and is thus more wholesome).
- It's produced without chemicals and is therefore more environmentally friendly.
- It provides a more unique flavor.
