Ingredients: 100% white sorghum semolina
Sorghum semolina is an excellent, naturally gluten-free alternative to traditional wheat semolina, made from the ancient grain called sorghum. It is rich in dietary fiber, vegetable protein, iron and antioxidants, making it a particularly healthy choice in everyday nutrition.

Significance, effects: Regular consumption of sorghum semolina has numerous positive physiological effects, thanks to its unique nutritional composition. Excellent gluten-free alternative: Its greatest importance in nutrition is that it is naturally gluten-free. It is the perfect, full-value substitute for wheat semolina (semolina) for those suffering from celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. The carbohydrates and complex fibers found in sorghum semolina are slowly absorbed by the body. Sorghum (especially the more colorful varieties) is rich in polyphenols, tannins and flavonoids. These antioxidants bind free radicals in the body, thereby reducing the risk of chronic inflammation and certain types of cancer.
Uses: Sorghum semolina is very similar in texture and behavior to traditional wheat semolina or cornmeal (polenta), so it can be used almost the same way:
Sorghum porridge (Milk semolina alternative): Cooked in plant-based milk or milk and sweetened, it can be used to make a perfect gluten-free breakfast porridge.
Cake ingredient: Excellent for enriching cottage cheese dumplings, semolina puffs, or various sponge cakes and mixed doughs, and improving their texture.

Preparation tip: Since sorghum has harder grains than wheat, the cooking time for sorghum groats may be a little longer (usually 15–20 minutes), and it is worth leaving it covered for another 5–10 minutes after cooking so that the grains can completely soften and swell.
Storage: Keep in a cold, dry place!
Country of origin: see on package
