Oats are a highly valuable cereal with a high protein and fiber content. It is easy to prepare and has a wide range of uses, so there’s no doubt why is has become and remained one of the most popular breakfast dishes in Anglo-Saxon countries and it’s not surprising that it is increasing in popularity throughout other parts of the world as well. You simply can’t get enough of it!
When preparing the porridge, nothing is added or taken from the oats and thus all the values of natural oats will be included in the porridge as well.
Use:
Mix with two parts hot water or non-dairy milk and let set for 5-10 minutes. It can be prepared as either a sweet or savory dish with added carob powder, cinnamon, fruits or vegetables.
It is also suitable for thickening dishes.
